Tutorial: Setting up AWeber for your Empower Network Blog

If you are brand new to Empower Network your autoresponders are taken care of by Dave & Dave.

What this means is, whenever you get leads opting in to your site and capture pages, they then receive automated messages from Empower Network.

Now in the beginning this is a good thing. As a newbie you want to know that everything is taken care of and all you have to do is come up with good content to drive traffic to your blog.

But as time goes by, you are going to want to have total control over your leads. You want to “own” your leads because no doubt you’ve heard the saying, “The Money Is In The List.”

So let’s show you How to Setup AWeber for Your Empower Network Blog.

Step 1 – Get an AWeber account

1. Hit the image above and this will take you to the AWeber Home Page.

2. Click on the tab that says “Order.”

3. Choose the option that most suits your purposes. Personally the $19/month option is fine whilst you are in the early stages of building a list.

4. Fill in your contact details and your credit card information.

5. Hit “I Agree, Complete My Order”

Step 2 – Setup Your AWeber List

1. Skip past all the ads. Just keep clicking “Got It, Take Me To My Account” until you get to the “List Stats” screen.

2. Hit “Create a New List”

3. Under “List Name” enter the name by which you would like to recognize this list. I would recommend starting with “en” so you know it is an Empower Network list. AWeber only accepts lower case letters, numbers and hyphens up to 15 characters.

4. Under “List Description” type in the description of this list. Your leads will see this title so it should clearly explain what this list is about.

5. Continue through and fill out all required fields in “Basic Settings” then hit “Save Settings.”
