6 days until New Years - Living Gratefully - Meditate to create Abundance

Hello Everybody,

It's 6 days until New Year's!

I've been part of a Meditation Challenge a little while ago and it was magical. For the last few days of 2012 I would like to share the last 6 days with you and hope you'll enoy it as much as I did. Creating Abundance with Meditation!
Living Gratefully
In today's meditation, we will discover how gratitude for everyone and everything in our lives will help us draw more abundance to us.
In the words of Elie Wiesel, "For me, every hour is grace. And I feel gratitude in my heart every time I can meet someone and look at his or her smile."
By being grateful for all that you have and expressing that appreciation in your daily life, you open a channel through which abundance can freely flow.
Again, let's go deeper into how to meditate as this is the foundation of these 6 days.
To meditate you sit in a comfortable position, hands lightly in your lap, palms upwards and your eyes closed. Trying to let go of all your thoughts, you start to focus on your breath, just gently breathe in and out. In and out. I like to go to the light within me. A candle is a good focus point if you never meditated before.
Focusing on your breath you'll become more and more relaxed. As I cannot be there with you, I would like to ask you to set a timer on 5 minutes. If you have nice calming music that would be good as well. Whenever you're ready, just sit comfortably and focus on this thought:
"Today, I remember to be grateful."
Today's Sanskrit mantra and its English essence are:
Om Vardhanam Namah
I nourish the universe, and the universe nourishes me.
I am deeply grateful for our time together.
Isn't that nice? This will help you to connect with the source from which all abundance flows.
After your five minutes very gently stretch your body, open up your eyes and start on this journey of creating abundance with me.
Today while you go through your day reflect on this:
Mindful Moment
Cultivate gratitude.
Make a list today of the many things in your life that you appreciate. Review your list and offer thanks for all you've included. Practice this routine often. Taking stock of your life's many gifts and expressing gratitude will clear the way for even greater abundance to flow into your life.
Until tomorrow!
