4 days until New Years - Living Unity - Meditate to create Abundance

Hello Everybody,

It's 4 days until New Year's!

I've been part of a Meditation Challenge a little while ago and it was magical. For the last few days of 2012 I would like to share the last 4 days with you and hope you'll enoy it as much as I did. Creating Abundance with Meditation!
Living Unity
In today's meditation, we will explore unity as the underlying truth of all that is.
As individuals, we look different from one another and have different lifestyles, beliefs, and perceptions. However, these differences exist only on the physical plane. At both the molecular and spiritual levels, we are all one, connected by the universal source.
When we begin to fully understand this concept of living unity, we replace the idea of the personal self with that of the universal self. The notion of competition disappears and leaves in its wake only co-operation. This connection fosters deep love and compassion for everyone and everything around us.
As every day, let's go deeper into how to meditate as this is the foundation of these 5 days.
To meditate you sit in a comfortable position, hands lightly in your lap, palms upwards and your eyes closed. Trying to let go of all your thoughts, you start to focus on your breath, just gently breathe in and out. In and out. I like to go to the light within me. A candle is a good focus point if you never meditated before.
Focusing on your breath you'll become more and more relaxed. As I cannot be there with you, I would like to ask you to set a timer on 5 minutes. If you have nice calming music that would be good as well. Whenever you're ready, just sit comfortably and focus on this thought:
"I celebrate my unity with all life, knowing we are all one."
Today's Sanskrit mantra and its English essence are:
Tat Tvam Asi
I see the other in myself and myself in others.
I look forward to connecting with you, again, at the source.
After your five minutes very gently stretch your body, open up your eyes and start on this journey of creating abundance with me.
Today while you go through your day reflect on this:
Mindful Moment
Foster interconnectedness.
Be present and genuinely interested in the lives of others when you speak with them today. In your conversations, give your undivided attention and, if you see someone in need, offer your assistance. Fostering these experiences will help you cultivate a deeper understanding of true interconnectedness.
Until tomorrow!
